It seems entirely right that the paintings are still all about celebrating colour, in the form of landscape and flowers, and the occasional small figure.
My intention is to discover and enhance different colour palettes that have a positive and joyful energy …. In fact, the subject matter is often secondary to the colour. It seems more important that the paintings are ultimately uplifting and convey a considered harmony.
So here’s to a little shot of colour in our day.
